☀️ A Summer Message from Reeds Point Pub & Grill ☀️

Hello, my lovelies,

As we approach what looks to be one of the busiest summers in our history, I wanted to take a moment to reach out and share a few thoughts.

First and foremost, thank you. We are so incredibly grateful for each and every one of you. ❤️

We know we’ve been closed a little more than usual this June, and we appreciate your patience and understanding. Five years ago, on Canada Day, we were reminded just how quickly life can change. We learned that family and friends won’t be around forever, and that the moments we share with them are priceless.

At that time, we made a conscious decision to live by one of the many signs hanging on our walls:

“Never get too busy making a living that you forget to have a life.”

Since then, we’ve done our best to honor that philosophy. We’ve been busy making memories with our children, siblings, parents, and friends—memories that we know we’ll cherish for years to come.

Do we understand that this isn’t always convenient from a business perspective? Absolutely, and we sincerely apologize for any inconvenience it may cause. However, I’d also like to remind everyone that even when we’re not physically at the pub, we’re doing our best to be present in our community.

We are proud supporters of the Kingston food bank, the Deacon’s Cupboard, the Erin Appleby Foundation, McDonald Consolidated School, the Legion, and many other local fundraisers and community initiatives throughout the year.

As for the summer ahead, our regular operating hours will remain the same. We will be closed on Canada Day and Labour Day Sunday, but otherwise we plan to operate as usual.

Will there be a few Sundays when we may need to close early due to exceptionally busy weekends? Possibly. Are we doing everything we can to avoid that? Absolutely.

If it happens, please know it is never our intention to disappoint anyone, and we appreciate your understanding more than you know.

Thank you for continuing to support us, encourage us, and show us so much kindness. We are incredibly fortunate to have such amazing customers who remain patient and wonderful as we navigate this ever-changing business.

Happy Father’s Day! We are open from 9am until 12pm today. We are fully booked this morning and want to apologize ahead of time for those we can not accommodate!
Also a huge thank you to my dad and to all the other father like figures who help keep the pub running daily. You are all amazing and we love and appreciate you all 😍

Happy Thursday! We are open from 11-8. We have the Popcorn Chicken poutine on special for $17.00. Reservations recommended as always.
And just a reminder to get those reservations in for fathers day! We are starting to fill up.

Happy Wednesday!!! We are open from 11-8 and have the Montreal Steak Spice burger on special.
Also a reminder for you all to get your reservations in for Fathers Day Brunch. We close at 12:00PM that day so we can spend time with the wonderful men in our lives 🥰

Ola my doves! We have power back now but are currently experiencing internet issues. We are open but please have patience 🙂 Bell Aliant is jerking us around again but we’ve had someone lend us their Mini Starlink so much thanks to that hero!
