Gluten Free Week was a huge success, thank you.

We had such a great response from the community, and it meant a lot to see so many people come in and enjoy the menu with confidence.

𝗪𝗲’𝗿𝗲 𝗴𝗼𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗳𝘂𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝗴𝗹𝘂𝘁𝗲𝗻 𝗳𝗿𝗲𝗲 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝘄𝗲𝗲𝗸 𝗼𝗻𝗹𝘆.

Tuesday March 31 to Saturday April 4, UVA will be serving a dedicated gluten free menu, with our kitchen prepped from top to bottom.

Josh has fully cleaned and reset the fryers, every surface is being scrubbed, and we’re taking extra care across the board to reduce any risk of cross contamination.

This is something we’ve put real thought and work into, not just a menu swap.

If you’re celiac or gluten sensitive, this is your week to come in and enjoy a night out with confidence.

UVA Wine Bar + Kitchen is looking for a Sous Chef to join our small kitchen team.

This is a focused kitchen that values good ingredients, solid technique, and a calm, professional service.

Our kitchen is open, so we are looking for someone who is comfortable interacting with guests. You should be happy to chat with diners, run food, and be part of the overall atmosphere of the restaurant.

The role includes:

• Supporting daily kitchen operations
• Prep and service
• Running food to tables and interacting with guests
• Solo services when required
• Helping keep the kitchen organized and running smoothly
• Contributing ideas and menu input

What we’re looking for:

• Previous line cook or sous chef experience
• Someone reliable who works well in a small team
• Comfortable working in an open kitchen environment

24–30 hours per week
Competitive hourly wage based on experience + tip pool
