A whole lot of stories.
And he’s still going strong.

This Saturday, October 17 we’re welcoming
John Goulet BACK to the Patricia Street Deli stage!

John picked up a guitar in Ottawa 61 years ago,
and it’s been quite the ride since.
From playing in rock bands in the ’60s
and opening for touring acts,
to performing outdoor concerts
for crowds of over 10,000-
this guy has some stories to tell.

He’s played alongside some incredible musicians,
recorded albums, fronted his own band,
and been part of Edmonton’s music scene since 1980.

These days, you’ll find John doing what he loves most-
playing music, sharing a stage, and connecting
with the next generation of local talent.

We’re happy to have him back!
We adore this man!

MEET KRISTEN ELIN!

We’ve already introduced you to Addison
and now it’s time to meet Kristen,
our second performer for our very first
Grant MacEwan Live Music Night! ❤️

Kristen Elin is an Edmonton-based alt folk-pop artist who uses confessional lyrical imagery and earworm melodies to create a landscape of deeply intimate storytelling. Her music takes listeners on an introspective, and sometimes danceable, journey reminiscent of artists like Lizzy McAlpine, Phoebe Bridgers, and Victoria Canal.

We’re so honoured to give these talented emerging musicians a stage to share their music. And we’d love nothing more than to see our community come out and support them! ❤️

MEET ADDISON WALL

On Sunday, October 18 from 6–9 PM, we’re kicking off
something new at Patricia Street Deli-a night dedicated
to giving Grant Mac students a stage and giving the rest
of us a chance to hear some seriously talented emerging artists.

First up, let us introduce you to Addison Wall.
Addison is an Edmonton-based singer-songwriter,
composer and guitarist who takes the sounds of
old-school swing and blues and brings them
into a modern folk-rock world.
Think influences like Paul Simon, Bob Dylan
and Joel Plaskett, mixed with clever, slightly strange lyrics, everyday anxiety, satire and a healthy dose of
tongue-in-cheek humour.

His debut EP, Somewhere In Between, was released
in September 2025 and we’re pretty damn excited
to have him on our little stage.

THIS BREAD.

There’s a reason our sandwiches occasionally get a little extra special on Live Music Nights and his name is Justin, aka Mr. Focaccia.

Why did we partner with him?

First and foremost, he’s just a straight-up good human. Authentic, down-to-earth, easy to work with and exactly the kind of local business owner we love supporting. Mr. Focaccia is also a one-man show. He makes it, runs the business and personally shows up at our door with fresh focaccia in hand.

And Good lord.
It is honestly some of the best we’ve ever had.
So on our Live Music Nights, you’ll find Mr. Focaccia bread as an option for your sandwich.
