So, I know a lot of you are wondering what's going on at Pastaplus. And most won't have the balls to ask directly...many will wonder & even worse, create stories that are so elaborate that they turn into wicked rumours....gotta love small Town! Thank you for those of you that have asked us personally as to what is going on; much appreciated!
It's a bitter-sweet moment for us. (& you are going to hear it from the SOURCE--The Real Story as told by Nancy & Anthony)….are you ready?
Pastaplus is no longer operating from their original location in the Crossroads Plaza as of March 2020. The location has been sold, NOT Pastaplus.
Anthony & Nancy are still Pastaplus.
It is with mixed emotions that we must re-create a life-style that is more family-based than working crazy hours constantly. This is the best choice for us. It's been a roller coaster ride with a lot of sacrifice, passion & a just plain wanting to make an honest living. Where? There are a couple of options....but first some well-deserved (real) time off...Like us & follow us on FB for updates as to what Anthony & Nancy are doing....
It was February 2011....Everything we had went into opening Pastaplus….We are a family owned & operated business. We have been residents of this Town for 16 years. We decided to raise our 3 children here in Alcona but to also have our business herefor almost 9 years.
We made it our lifestyle & did the best we could. We appreciate all the love & support....our fans are our customers, & without customers, there would not have been a business. We will cherish all the connections we've made...& the stomachs we've fed. It IS a Labour of Love....it DOES take commitment & juggling...a small family business---I know a lot of you that are reading this, just know....for those that have always worked for an employer, kudos for putting up with your employer...lol!
Being self-employed with a family is a different lifestyle...I won't go through it all...you would think that we were whining about our choices.
We have changed the dynamics of what family was to us...only to Juggle work life, being home life intertwined. The joys of getting to know all the awesome customers we've been so privileged to know...or, as we like to see it, "Strangers turned into Friends'....You know who you are!!! Too many people to thank! We appreciate your patience, support & love of our food & what we were trying to create at Pastaplus...not just a place to eat, a place to be!
From our customers, near and far, those that came in once in awhile to those that became family because they frequented so often, to our original staff, to in-between staff, event staff, those that stayed awhile, & those that were there for a moment notice & those that made a difference in our lives & especially those few that stuck with us through to the end....in whatever capacity, We THANK YOU for being apart of Pastaplus….
We love what we do...& it doesn't matter from where we do it...we keep it honest & fresh & real....our customers keep us going.

Pastaplus Alcona will NOT be operating from their original location (1070 Innisfil Beach Road, Unit #17), as of March 2020. We have NOT sold our business; Anthony & Nancy still own Pastaplus.
What's next? Maybe a well-deserved (real) vacation....& definitely some sleep & some (real) R&R...
