Our talented chefs have revitalized The Markland restaurant and have made a point of celebrating local cuisine with wild halibut, lobster, snow Crab, seafood chowder, scallops and oysters along with choice beef, chicken and pasta. Our restaurant offers a continental breakfast and dinner in a warm environment that welcomes families. Please see the many positive reviews received by our restaurant last season. Our wines are selected from an outstanding sommelier in Halifax and we are proud of the choice offered to our guests.

Well it’s nice to see the sun out there this morning this singer has got wood to cut up but first , what a grand night last night of laughs and songs at the beautiful Octagon The Markland Coastal Beach Cottages. Thank you Deron Donovan’s Musical Journeys for bringing the show to light, we are lucky to have such a great person who truly cares about music/people the way he does. Thanks to best sound man ever! Mike Gorey ( without a good sound guy the show falls apart)

Even on a cloudy evening our beach is still a mesmerizing place to be. Our mile‑long beach sits right on the property soft sand and wide ocean views where the mountains meet the sea. Its a great place to lose track of time collecting shells and watching the sunset.
