We've always felt like P.B's needed something special on the menu to celebrate the arrival of fall!🍂🎃

While we've seen plenty of food trucks introduce Turkey Poutines and Thanksgiving inspired specials, we wanted to do something a little different. Something that still captures those cozy autumn flavours, but with a unique P.B's twist!

Now, Daniel's first idea might have been Pumpkin Spice Fries, but wasn't too sure on how good those would be.

So instead, we've been working on something we're pretty excited about!

Introducing a little behind the scenes sneak peek at our very first batch of...

FRESH-CUT SWEET POTATO FRIES!✨🍠

That's right! We're working on bringing fresh cut sweet potato fries to P.B's for a limited time, hopefully launching around mid October 2026!

And of course, we couldn't just serve them on their own. We're planning to pair them with a delicious, smoky chipotle dipping sauce that complements the natural sweetness of the fries.

We're still very much in the testing and fine tuning stages. From finding the perfect cut and cooking process to making sure every batch comes out consistently delicious, there's a lot of experimenting happening behind the scenes! (They're quite different from a russet and white potato)

We're also on the hunt for a local sweet potato supplier so we can continue supporting local growers while getting the best possible ingredients for our customers.

There's still some work to be done before these make their official debut, but with Thanksgiving just around the corner, we simply couldn't keep this one to ourselves any longer!

Happy Thanksgiving Weekend from all of us at P.B’s French Fries!🍂

Just a friendly reminder that both of our locations will be closed on Sunday October 11th and Monday October 12th for the Thanksgiving holiday!

We want to give our hardworking staff the opportunity to spend some quality time with their families, enjoy their Thanksgiving dinners, and take a well deserved break.

A little update on our Canadian Tire location!

We're excited to share that repairs are progressing, and we're currently anticipating having our Canadian Tire location fully repaired and back up and running by Thursday or Friday of next week! We're keeping our fingers crossed and can't wait to share more updates with everyone as we get closer to reopening.

From all of us at P.B's, we want to wish you and your families a wonderful Thanksgiving weekend! We're incredibly thankful for the continued support of our amazing community, customers, and staff.

Here's a little sneak peek at one of our very first Blooming Onions of the day!

BLOOMING ONION THURSDAYS ARE BACK!✨🧅💛

We're so excited to officially bring back one of our most requested specials, and we can't wait to serve you!

Our Events Trailer will be open today from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM, serving up freshly prepared, golden, crispy Blooming Onions!

Want to make sure you get yours? We still have a few pickup time slots available! Simply give us a call at 519-998-6272 to reserve a pickup time.

Walk-up orders are also more than welcome, so feel free to stop by our Events Trailer and place your order in person!

This is just the first week of Blooming Onion Thursdays, and we're looking forward to making this a weekly tradition every Thursday at P.B's French Fries!

The show must go on! 🙌

Unfortunately, with our Canadian Tire location still temporarily closed for repairs, we've had to make a few adjustments to today's Blooming Onion plans.

But don't worry, we're still making it happen! 🎉

To make sure nobody misses out, we'll be firing up our P.B's Events Trailer at our Airstream location and serving up freshly made Blooming Onions TODAY!

LOCATION: 92 Thames Street North, Ingersoll (Airstream Location)

TIME: 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM TODAY!

PRICE: $13.50 + HST

Every Blooming Onion is freshly hand-cut and hand-battered by our staff before being fried to golden, crispy perfection!

Each Blooming Onion comes with your choice of dipping sauce:

Garlic Aioli

Chipotle Mayo

Ranch

We'll be offering a limited number of scheduled pickup times for anyone looking to order ahead!

⚠️ Please note: We're limiting preorders to ONE Blooming Onion per pickup time slot to help keep everything running smoothly and ensure orders are ready when promised.

Don't have a pickup time? No problem!

We'll also be accepting walk-up orders directly at our Events Trailer window from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM!

⚠️ A QUICK HEADS UP ABOUT AVAILABILITY!

Based on the incredible turnout we had for our very first Blooming Onion Day last year, there's a very realistic chance that we could SELL OUT BEFORE 3:00 PM!

We're preparing as best we can, but quantities will be limited, and Blooming Onions will be available while supplies last.

If we do sell out early, we'll make sure to update our Facebook and Instagram pages, as well as the voicemail greeting at 519-998-6272, so you can check availability before making the trip!

We sincerely appreciate everyone's patience and understanding as we continue working to get our Canadian Tire location back up and running.

We couldn’t have been more honoured to cater for such an amazing local company!

Pioneer Cabinetry, located just outside of Tillsonburg, recently invited P.B's out to help celebrate with a staff lunch, and we had an absolute blast serving their team.

From the moment we arrived, everyone was incredibly welcoming and appreciative. It’s always a great feeling getting to bring the trailer out for a company celebration, but it’s even better when you get to serve such a fantastic group of people.

A huge thank you to everyone at Pioneer Cabinetry for having us and for choosing P.B's to be part of the celebration. Great company, great people, and a pretty great excuse to enjoy some fresh cut fries! 🍟

Canadian Tire Location Update 🍟

Our Canadian Tire location will remain closed today and most likely tomorrow as we work on repairing our hood system.

At the moment, we have the hood system taken apart and have identified the part that needs to be replaced. We’re now working on getting that part ordered and delivered so we can get everything properly put back together and safely up and running again.

Right now, we’re hoping for a Tuesday or Wednesday reopening, but that timeline will depend on how quickly we can get the replacement part. We’ll keep everyone updated as soon as we have a more definite reopening date!

We also know that Thursday is Blooming Onion Day at Canadian Tire! 🧅 If it looks like the location won’t be ready in time, we’ll make adjustments with our Events Trailer and do our best to make sure Blooming Onion Day can still happen!

In the meantime, our Airstream location is OPEN! 🍟

Due to some very unfortunate timing, a part in our hood system fan has broken, which means our Canadian Tire location will be temporarily closed while we source the replacement part and complete the repair.

The good news is that our Airstream location is still fully operational and open as usual! 🍟

We’re hoping to have the Canadian Tire location back up and running sometime during the week. We’ll keep everyone updated on social media as soon as we have a better timeline.

We’re excited to announce that we’ve been nominated for the 2026 Woodstock Chamber of Commerce Business Awards of Excellence!✨💛

We are incredibly honoured to be recognized in the Young Entrepreneur of the Year category alongside so many amazing local businesses and entrepreneurs.

This nomination truly means a lot to me. I bought P.B's at 19, and the amount of support I’ve received as a young entrepreneur in this community has been incredible.

Over the last four and a half years, my team and I have worked extremely hard to keep growing P.B's, trying new things and taking risks along the way. We’ve grown to two locations in Ingersoll, added our Events Trailer, and are on track to take part in over 100 events throughout Oxford County this year alone. We’ve also become more involved than ever in supporting local teams, organizations and community events.

From winning the Heart FM French Fry Showdown to being recognized by CAA Magazine as one of Canada’s top chip stands it’s been a pretty incredible year for P.B's.

To now have the Woodstock Chamber of Commerce recognize the work we’ve put into growing P.B.’s with a nomination for Young Entrepreneur of the Year is truly amazing. I’m incredibly grateful for my team, our customers, and everyone in this community who has supported me and P.B.’s along the way.

I’m really proud of what we’ve built, and even more excited about where we’re going next.
