The Porch is officially closed. I will be deciding what to do with the building. It was quite a ride in a stormy part of my life, but I loved every person who came through my door and I will miss each and every one! šŸ„°

In loving memory of my cousin Dave Cameron I will be open Friday, March 31 for a cheeseburger and fries night. One night onlyā€¦cheeseburger and fries $10. All proceeds to go to the Heart and Stroke Foundation. This will be the only menu item for that night. Open 4-8 pm

The Porch is getting a very good cleaning and facelift while I decide on what path to take. I miss everyone that has passed through the door already!! If Iā€™m there please stop by for a coffee and a chatā€¦

It is with great sadness that Iā€™m posting today. I will be closing at the end of the month. As of January 1st 2023 The Porch will be officially closed šŸ˜” Any outstanding gift certificates can be redeemed for cash. I Have loved every minute here and I will miss each and every person who has walked through my door ā¤ļøā¤ļøā¤ļø

So glad to be back in the kitchen!! Open at 5:30 am for breakfast Monday through Friday. Daily lunch specials. Fresh homemade soupā€¦always welcome on cold winter days!!

Tomorrow is MY last day here for a while. Off for eye surgery on Tuesday, then second eye on October 4th. Cafe will remain open with Don running things for awhile.

I will be closed Wednesday, August 31 for yet another eye appointment in Edmonton. Fingers crossed that I will finally get an appointment for surgery. Sorry for any inconvenience.

Unfortunately I didnā€™t get my cataract surgery, but I did have laser treatment on both eyes. I will be back open Wednesday, July 27th
