Our Soil Primer workshop is BACK on Thursday October 1st - let's dig into it!

The science and art of regenerating your soil is so important, and often a huge reason as to why some folks struggle with gardens that last all season, or certain crops producing vs others. Our soil in Hamilton is very unique, and I've spent so much time teaching folks how to read their conditions and take steps in the right direction. If you are interested in learning, please head to the link in bio to our workshop page to save your spot! And head's up, if you get tickets to 2 or more, whether you bring a pal or go to multiple, you will get 15% off!

See you on October 1st!

Needed a moment to thank our love, M. W. Gibson for this incredible design of our most recent tee! These were a spring pre-order that got delayed due to a fire with our printers Start Famous, and we've got a few more things coming but if you got the order notification, it's here for you! Come pick them up so you can wear this EXTREMELY COMFY tee.

This is our 10th (!!!) unique design we've made with Start Famous! Do you have some of them, and if so, which ones are your favourite?

It's been a highlight to watch folks slow down and read our windows over the past few weeks, and we feel very grateful for the chance for us to do some deep learning to better understand what the different pieces of commonly-used land acknowledgement language means in our immediate context. There are always steps we can take to be better, and ways we can use our platform and voices to point towards leaders and elders who have come before us to show the way. We've compiled some resources and teachings on the Dish with One Spoon Wampum Belt Covenant and how we can take action to hold folks in civic office accountable to the words they read in rooms where power (responsibility) is not shared. If you're interested in learning more, please head to the link in our bio to read on, and fill out our template to email your municipal candidates asking them where they stand.

Thank you to our team for walking through this with us, and to Finley for painting native fall plants in the Wampum Belt colours.

Have you gotten your tickets to Taste of Barton yet? We're one week out and can't wait to test out all the amazing offerings of our neighbours!

We've put the brakes on the amount of catering orders we can take these days, but we love getting to recommend some of our BIA & local buds! This is an amazing chance to try out all the local options for those of you that work in events, host conferences, or just want to get a sample of what's out there! Tickets are so easy to get (link in bio!), and I promise to give you a high five there too! A Bonus!

See you on Thursday, September 24th at Branch HQ!
