Matty’s Hot Chicken hatched out of the idea that you don’t have to be in Nashville to get some DAMN GOOD hot chicken! Starting as a pop-up concept out of 35 King William, Matty’s took flight, serving crispy and fresh hot chicken by the piece sourced from Ontario farmers, juicy sandos, crinkle-cut shake fries, and those hard to resist Kreamy Krisp mini donuts! fect had spread throughout Hamilton and had hot chicken lovers from near and far FIRED UP and craving for more. With this overwhelming support from the community to keep up with the demand for their tasty Hot Chicken, they knew they needed to move quickly and spread the love of Hot Chicken to as many people as possible. After running pop-ups and achieving success; in spreading the love of hot chicken, the team knew it was time to take the plunge and open up a permanent home for the Matty’s Hot Chicken brand. Enter Locke St., a vibrant neighbourhood that encapsulates the feeling of comfort and home. We knew this was the perfect place to open our first Matty’s Hot Chicken location. The journey of getting here has been long, winding, and filled with tasty hot chicken, but it has just begun for Matty’s. The future is burning bright here, and we are turning up the heat in Hamilton, one order at a time!

While we cherish the incredible memories of serving hot chicken, it's time to say goodbye... for now! Unfortunately, we need to find a new location. This Sunday, October 29, is our last day of service on Locke Street.

We'd like to take this opportunity to say a huge, heartfelt thank you to our wonderful guests. We are always grateful for your love and support. Thank you to our incredible and dedicated team who have worked tirelessly this year. It has been a wonderful journey and a great experience working with every single member of the Matty's team that made this small place special.

Thank you everyone for coming on this journey with us. Stay tuned for our reappearance! We will BRB. Till then folks, take care and stay safe. ❤️
