Our hearts are heavy as we say goodbye to Creative Cup Cafe’s greatest friend, Patrick. 🤍

Patrick had been a regular since we opened our doors in June 2020, and he became such a special part of our little cafe family. Walking the streets of Halifax’s North End, he would tell everyone he met about “the greatest cafe in the world.”

To have someone so proudly in our corner from the very beginning meant more than he could ever have known.

Patrick, thank you for your friendship, your loyalty, and all the love you showed us over the years. The cafe won’t feel quite the same without you, and we will miss you so very much. Today would have been Patrick’s 93 birthday so we will celebrate his life and one last birthday today at the cafe. Please stop in and have a slice of cake for Patrick ❤️❤️❤️

I am so excited to celebrate Geoffrey Wilson on the publication of his debut novel, Mixed Tape!

Set in the 1980s, it follows a young man navigating secret crushes, family expectations, and the journey toward accepting himself—all with a mixed tape at the heart of his story. It’s a story of love, identity, and finding the courage to be honest with yourself.

One of my favourite things about Creative Cup Cafe is getting to know the wonderful people who walk through our doors. Being able to celebrate a milestone like this makes it even more special. ❤️

After 7 months at sea on the HMCS / NCSM Charlottetown my brother Andrew his beautiful family were reunited! Then headed straight to the Creative Cup Cafe for lunch 🥰 they all seemed VERY happy to be back together again 🥰🥰🥰🥰
