Happy Friday afternoon from Ida’s Place in Greenspond.

As some of you may know it has been a bit of a challenging summer for us here. My health has been in question not once, but twice in a short period of time.
Because of this; we had to close suddenly a few weeks ago.
I am out of the hospital now a week and feeling better each day.
Our plan was to open on weekends till Thanksgiving and so we ordered inventory for that.
Now - that being said - we have goodies left over so I had a brilliant idea!!!!!

WE WILL DO A POP UP OPENING HERE AT IDA’S PLACE:
tomorrow; Saturday; September 26th

1:00 - 4:00 ( or until supplies last)

TAKE OUT ONLY
CASH ONLY

Cinnamon buns - 2 for 10.00
Tea buns 6 for 10.00
Partridgeberry Scones 5.00 each.

That is the menu - most items going at 1/2 price!🙂🙂

Come down, grab some goodies and let’s have a proper “So long till next season” chat.

We would like to announce that due to circumstances beyond our control - IDA’S PLACE IS NOW CLOSED FOR THE SEASON.
We are so very sorry for this sudden change in hours.
We will return in 2027 ready to welcome you in for a cuppa goodness and a cinnamon bun.
Please enjoy your fall and winter and please look after one another.

Sounds of the Sea in Greenspond has had a cancellation for August 7th - 10th (Friday-Mon). We also have the weekend of August 15th- 17th available.
If you like to hang out by the ocean and see the sights in the area, please reach out. Sunny weather seems to be coming our way and Lumsden Beach is only 30 min away.
A great little getaway to add to your summer fun.

Ida’s Place in Greenspond would like to send out sincere condolences to the friends and family of our dearly departed Tom Bragg.
There was a celebration of life for him today and we wished we could have been there.

As we were working today I remembered that a few years ago we hosted a podcast on our property with IBEC and Darren Sheppard. One of the guests was Tom Bragg and he talks in great length about his career on Puffin Island as a light house keeper.

Good morning all!
Heather here from Ida’s place. I hope everyone is doing well.
I just wanted to jump on here this morning to let you know that I am in the hospital in Gander. I am ok but we are not sure how long my stay will be.
In the meantime my wonderful husband and our “other” Heather will be running the show with a little help from our friends on the weekend.

I know you will miss my extraordinary personality but come anyway. The cheesecake and the cinnamon buns will be worth it… I promise.

Also - THERE WILL BE NO DEBIT.
We do apologize for this. So it will be cash only or EMT.

We are now officially in summer hours till September.
