If I haven’t gotten back to you, I don’t mean to leave you hanging. I’ve been waiting months and the answers have changed so many times.

Edited for clarity: zero blame. The process is what makes sense for the opportunity to accessible to all. While I am hopeful we are chosen, I respect and appreciate fair chances for all.
It pertains to me in that I would like my customers to know two things:
I can’t, in good conscience, hire someone while knowing their job might not exist to extend the hours. I staff for 100 hours a week in the busy season, which I can’t do by myself. This is unfortunate both for me and for the people using the facilities. I hope it is resolved soon.
I can’t give you an answer as to my availability or take orders for a time past the date we would have to close. I don’t want anyone counting on me to be left scrambling at the last minute.

Once we know more, I will be able to answer more!
