MushrooMania Demo & Dine with Chef Alex

Join us during MushrooMania Weekend for a special Demo & Dine with Chef Alex from The Station W**e Bar, celebrating the incredible flavours, textures, and versatility of mushrooms.

The evening will begin with a delicious wild mushroom pâté served on brioche with pickled shimeji mushrooms, followed by a live cooking demonstration showcasing some creative ways to enjoy mushrooms.

Chef Alex will put lion’s mane mushrooms in the spotlight, turning this unique mushroom into a delicious lion’s mane “crab cake.” He’ll also demonstrate the art of making mushroom ravioli, featuring a selection of locally sourced mushrooms.

Enjoy a delicious evening of food, cooking, and conversation as Chef Alex shares his techniques, tips, and inspiration for bringing mushrooms to life in the kitchen.

Come hungry and discover just how delicious mushrooms can be! This intimate culinary experience is perfect for food lovers looking to learn, connect, and enjoy a memorable evening centred around fresh, seasonal ingredients.

Today, on National Truth and Reconciliation Day, we join the nation in commemorating the history and legacy of the residential school system. It is a day to pay tribute to the strength, resilience, and dignity of survivors and intergenerational survivors, and to remember the children who were never reunited with their families. This day calls us to deepen our understanding of the impact of colonial history on Indigenous communities and commit to the path of healing and reconciliation.

We are dedicated to fostering connections, celebrating local culture, and supporting sustainable practices for the well-being of our community and future generations.

Join us at Gibsons Public Market on November 14 & 15 from 10 AM–1 PM for our 3rd Annual Kids Market!

The Kids Market is a special weekend celebrating the creativity, imagination and entrepreneurial spirit of young people in our community. Come by and support local young makers, artists and entrepreneurs as they showcase and sell their own creations.

From handmade crafts and artwork to jewellery, treats, gifts and unique creations, there will be lots to discover and plenty of opportunities to shop local while supporting the next generation of small business owners!

🍂🎶October is upon us, bringing crisp afternoons that make for the perfect cozy weekend. So come on down to Gibsons Public Market to cozy up with a drink and have a listen to some of the phenomenal live local musicians we feature this month.

We have live music in our lovely atrium three Saturdays this October, perfectly matched with the legendary Happy Hour at Emelle's Market Bistro.

The Winter Festival & Market makes its seasonal return to Gibsons Public Market, taking place on Saturday, December 5, and Sunday, December 6. We’re looking for talented seasonal makers, bakers, and creators to join us for a wonderful winter weekend filled with holiday cheer. Vendor applications are open until September 30, and space is limited!

We’re excited to announce that Neighbourhood Nights are back at Gibsons Public Market! Join us for an evening of live music, a family-friendly movie, popcorn, and plenty of community fun.

We’re kicking off the return of Neighbourhood Nights with Dally Mon on October 9th, bringing an original fusion of West Coast Hip Hop and reggae-inspired grooves to the Market. With intricate lyricism, heartfelt songwriting, and a high-energy live performance, Dally Mon brings positive vibes and an uplifting sound that is sure to get the crowd moving. We then have the incomparable Half Cut & The Slackers on November 13th, and a high energy set from Mad Cow on December 4th.

Bring the whole family and settle in for a free family-friendly movie starting at 5:30 PM! We’ll have popcorn available to enjoy during the movie, plus childminding, so parents and caregivers can relax and enjoy the evening too. It’s the perfect way to kick off a fun, easygoing night at the Market!

Neighbourhood Nights are all about bringing our community together — and we can’t wait to see you there!
