A few days ago we shared Louise’s story because it felt impossible to look at that face and not do something.

The community took it from there.

Shares, donations and messages. People offering to help. Two amazing people even stepped up and covered her adoption fee.

And now Louise is OFFICIALLY GOING HOME ❤️

We joke around a lot on this page, but this stuff matters to us. Seeing the community rally behind an animal that needed a second chance is a pretty incredible thing to watch.

Huge thank you to everyone who shared her story and to the Oromocto SPCA for sticking with her for all 120 days.

Louise was seized and brought into the shelter 126 days ago.

Nobody really knows what goes through a dog’s head when their entire life suddenly changes, but imagine sitting somewhere for FOUR straight months watching other dogs leave while you stay behind.

Since then she’s watched the snow disappear, spring come and go, and now somehow she’s still waiting.

She needs a cat-free home.

We’re hiring a dough person.

Your main responsibility is making the thing we literally built the business on, so no pressure. It’s early mornings, flour everywhere, repetitive work, and enough dough balls to make you question how much pizza this city actually eats.

The job is pretty simple:

- mix dough
- cut dough
- weigh dough
- ball dough
- pan dough
- stack dough
- repeat until your internal monologue becomes elevator music

You don’t need years of experience. We can teach the right person.

What we actually need is someone reliable who can move with purpose and understands that “good enough” and “close enough” are usually the reason everybody else’s pizza sucks.

There’s lifting involved. There’s cleaning involved. Some mornings will feel peaceful. Some mornings the mixer will sound like a helicopter trying to leave the building.

We made a BBQ Chicken pizza today.

Unfortunately, we forgot the BBQ.

And the chicken.

Which, in hindsight, are two fairly important components of a BBQ Chicken pizza.

Customer reached out after getting back to work and politely pointed out our mistake.

We got her looked after and made it right.

Shoutout to customers like this who give us the chance to fix things instead of immediately launching us into the sun.

10/10 customer.

The community does the heavy lifting every single time.

Dylan had the best birthday ever. Jesse Campbell volunteered his time for a free magic show. JoyRide Cotton Candy showed up and catered for free. Hundreds of people sent cards and gifts for a kid they’ve never met.
