We’re trying Nas Jaafar’s 2026 World Brewers Cup-winning recipe, adapted for your favourite Duck Duck coffee. 😉
THE RECIPE 📝
🫘 15g coffee
💧 200g water
🌡️ 92°C
⚙️ Medium-coarse grind
🫖 Hario Switch or Clever Dripper
Yep… that’s a 13.33:1 water-to-coffee ratio. 👀
1️⃣ 0:00 — Bloom
Switch OPEN → slowly pour 100g over 15 seconds.
Let it brew until 1:00.
2️⃣ 1:00 — Steep
Switch CLOSED → pour the remaining 100g.
Steep for 60 seconds.
3️⃣ 2:00 — Drawdown
OPEN the Switch and let it drain.
4️⃣ 2:30-ish — DRINK! 🥳🦆
Fast. Balanced. Full of flavour.
