This weather has been giving “soup season” more than summer BBQ, but we can’t wait on Mother Nature any longer.

Alberta has chosen violence, so we’re choosing brisket, BBQ, and pretending the patio season energy is still alive and well.

Our new Backyard Summer BBQ Menu is officially out, and she’s ready for you tonight. Come check it out while Matty Parlee hosts Open Mic and we keep Steak Night rolling because Thursdays deserve options.

Steak if you’re classic. Backyard BBQ menu if you’re feeling flirty. Either way, supper plans are handled.

Now that the dust has settled from Saturday, and the bride and groom have had their chance to share their photos, it’s our turn to brag a little 🤗

This weekend we had the honour of hosting a 90 person wedding reception right here at Tavern, and we are so proud of how it all came together. A huge thank you to the bride and groom for trusting us with such a special night. It truly meant the world. ✨️

We also need to give the biggest shoutout to Danica Kalashnikov with an honourable mention to Steph Link, Jess and Johnie, the decorating crew that made it happen. Danika was absolutely the brains behind the beauty of the decor, but it could not have been completed without all those helping hands. It was a full team effort, and watching the room come together was something we’re pretty proud of.

Of course, we somehow managed to miss getting proper photos of the food and the dance floor once the night really got going, but trust us, it was all amazing. Huge thank you to Safick Golamaully and his kitchen team for knocking the food out of the park. The compliments were rolling in all night, the room had the perfect flow for mingling, and the whole evening felt easy, beautiful, and full of love.

Last but not least thank you to our Tavern staff for showing up, working hard, and absolutely wowing the crowd. Nights like this only work when every person on the team cares, and we are so lucky to have the crew we do.

We’re so excited to keep growing this side of Tavern. Weddings, Staff, Christmas, and Birthday parties as well as private events.. give us a call. 📞 We would love to be part of it.

Thank god we can finally say happy 40th birthday to Philip Oliver

We’ve been celebrating since Friday, we’re all exhausted, and frankly, we need a nap before he turns 41 🤣
