Comfort food with a Japanese twist.

Our house-made black bean sauce is slow-cooked with tender braised pork belly and potatoes, then served over springy Japanese ramen noodles. Finished with shredded fried egg, crisp cucumber, fresh carrots, toasted sesame seeds, and a side of traditional oshinko for the perfect balance of rich, savoury, and refreshing flavours.

Every bowl is made to order and meant to be mixed together before enjoying—bringing every ingredient into one delicious bite.

The latest stop on Taste of YMM Eats presented by Printing Unlimited brought Mike Jones to Nishiki Japanese Cuisine, where he explored their festival pairings as part of the RE/MAX Connect AB Fort McMurray Food Festival.

Guests can enjoy:
• Black Garlic Tonkotsu Ramen & Wagyu Gyoza (4 pieces) paired with Rose Lemonada Soda
• Japanese Curry Rice & Black Tiger Shrimp Skewers (2 skewers) paired with a Mango Matcha Latte
• Snow Mountain Roll & Okonomiyaki Pancake paired with Peach Soda

From rich ramen and savoury curry to sushi and unique pairings, Nishiki's menu highlights the variety of Japanese cuisine available right here in our community.
