Wandering Rose Bakes wasn’t a lifelong dream—it was a beautiful surprise.
A year ago, my daughter got married, and to help save money, I volunteered to bake and decorate her wedding cake. I’d never decorated a cake before, but I figured, why not? We baked the cake, decorated cupcakes together as a family, celebrated a beautiful wedding… and then packed all the decorating supplies away.
A few months later, I came across an artist creating breathtaking buttercream flowers. I couldn’t stop watching. Eventually I thought, I still have all those supplies… maybe I’ll give it a try.
So I did.
One flower became another. Then another.
Before long, I discovered something I never expected—a creative outlet that brings me peace, inspires me to keep learning, and allows me to create something beautiful for others.
Every flower is piped by hand. Every cupcake is made with care. My hope is that each creation becomes part of someone’s celebration, a heartfelt gift, or simply a reason to smile.
Life is meant to be celebrated, and sometimes the sweetest moments deserve flowers you can eat.
Thank you for being here at the very beginning of this journey. I can’t wait to share it with you.
