We’d like to say a HUGE thank you to our Cami, whose last shift at Rooftop was just a few weeks ago. Over her 5 years here, she wore so many different hats and left her mark on so many different aspects of the shop. Like our baking program (imagine a Rooftop without pastel de nata), our monthly Coffee Club zine, our unmatched selection of merch, our rotating drink special, and all the graphic design details that make our space feel so cohesive and inviting. And not to mention all our new branding! It all started with a couple merch collabs (photo 2 was our first Cami x Rooftop long sleeve!), but we quickly became so obsessed with Cami’s bright and eye-catching illustrations that they came to define Rooftop’s whole aesthetic. It’s like she took all those years of becoming engrained in and shaping our shop’s culture, and captured them in the bright playful designs of our rebrand earlier this year.
But it’s so much more than things in the pastry case or on our shelves. Her energy played a huge part in making this team and space so special. The culture of Rooftop truly has Cami written all over it. We’re going to miss having her on this side of the bar, but luckily she hasn’t gone too far ;) I can’t thank you enough for everything, you’ll always be a member of the Rooftop fam ❤️🔥
