UPDATE ๐ง๏ธ| Due to the forecasted weather for Sunday, August 2, the Canal Days Classic Car Show, presented by NAPA Auto Parts, has been rescheduled to Monday, August 3, from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.
While Sunday's forecast has prompted the change to the Classic Car Show, many Canal Days attractions and events will continue as planned.

Visitors with tickets for Empire Sandy Cruises, presented by Algoma Central Corporation and Allied Marine & Industrial, should plan to arrive as scheduled to the Empire Sandy booth located on West St. Cruises operate rain or shine. Should a sailing be cancelled due to inclement weather, refunds will be issued to ticket holders.

The Fireworks & Boat Parade of Lights, presented by Rankin Construction and Port Colborne Quarries, are also expected to proceed as scheduled on Sunday evening. The fireworks display will continue in rainy conditions, but may be delayed or cancelled in the event of thunder or lightning to ensure the safety of spectators, volunteers and event staff.

Visitors looking to stay dry can also enjoy several indoor attractions throughout the weekend.
Hosted by the Port Colborne Optimist Club, the Craft Show takes place from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on both Saturday, August 1 and Sunday, August 2 inside Rink 2 at the Vale Health & Wellness Centre, 550 Elizabeth St. Admission is free, and visitors can browse handmade crafts, artwork, candles, dolls and more from approximately 55 Ontario vendors. Proceeds from the event support children's programs in the Port Colborne community.
Car enthusiasts can also explore the Die-Cast Toy Show, presented by K & T Hobby, on Sunday, August 2 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. in Gym 1 at the Vale Health & Wellness Centre. The show features more than 50 tables of die-cast vehicles and collectibles, along with a downhill toy car race for visitors of all ages. A $2 admission donation is encouraged, with a portion of proceeds supporting the YMCA Stronger Together Campaign and Ronald McDonald House.
