Legion flags are at half mast as of today, in honor of the passing of Comrade Phil McCauley, Calgary Branch No. 1, and Deputy District Commander. Phil was veteran of the Navy. They shall not grow old as we that are left grow old;

Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.

At the going down of the sun and in the morning we will remember them.

Shane Reid's celebration of life is this Saturday, June 13th at our Legion, from 1:00 until 3:00.
The family is eager to hear your stories about him. If you are shy about public speaking you can leave a note for them to put into a memory book.
Potluck contributions of finger foods either savory or sweet are welcome.
