Tomorrow is back to school in Elmvale and it’s a great day to send the kids in for lunch at the Country Diner!!

Over the summer so many people have stopped in from our area and out of town to contribute to our Student Lunch Program. Thank you all for contributing to such an amazing program that goes directly back to our community.

We would like the thank all of the people that left lunch money for the students and a big thank you to Rob and Nona McClung who hosted a Fundraising BBQ this summer with all money raised donated to the Country Diner and the Elmvale Student Lunch Program.
Their BBQ alone raised enough to give out over 140 free lunches to Elmvales Students that may not have had a warm meal otherwise.

Thank you again to everyone that has helped make this program such a big part of our community and to our amazing customers that saw we were providing free meals to students and jumped in with monetary donations and spread the word about our program. The chain reaction you created has been overwhelming.

Here’s to beating the 2025-2026 free lunch record 🙂

Happy back to school everyone and come by tomorrow for our first free student lunch day of the 2026 school year.
