As Chinese food became more popular in the city the Quon Brothers decided to expand and move into our current location in 1963. The Lingnan restaurant has always had a loyal crowd on clientele because of the excellent food, ambiance and service. Many of our staff members have been with us for over 30 years and continue to work each day with an abundance of energy and pride. Owner, Kinman Quon, has
worked at The Lingnan since he was 17 and now continues to run the restaurant with his family. In time, eldest Son Miles decided to join in the family business full time and now has taken on majority of the duties and challenges. We are very proud to be able to keep the business within the same family for over 60 years and will continue to do our best with the support of our loyal clientele. The Lingnan has been serving Edmonton and surrounding area with fine Cantonese and Szechuen cuisine since 1947, and features two main dining areas and a large banquet room for special occasions.
