We want to be transparent with our customers about why we offer different payment options.

💵 Cash / Debit Payments
We offer a lower price when you choose cash or debit because these payment methods help us reduce payment-processing costs. Applicable GST is still charged and properly accounted for.

💳 Credit Card Payments
For credit-card transactions, a 2.4% credit-card surcharge is applied to help offset the processing costs associated with accepting credit cards.

This surcharge is permitted under Canadian payment-card rules, provided the required disclosure requirements are followed. Customers are informed of the surcharge before completing their transaction and may choose another payment method instead. Credit-card surcharges are subject to a maximum of 2.4% under the applicable payment-card rules. (Canada⁠)

We understand that everyone has a preferred way to pay, and we simply want to keep our pricing as fair and transparent as possible while keeping unnecessary processing costs from being built into everyone’s prices.
