Butter Chicken Edition 🍛🔥
From the simmer to the swirl — here’s how the magic happens.

🍗 Butter Chicken Recipe

Chicken Marinade:
• 1 lb chicken thighs, cut into pieces
• 1/2 cup yogurt
• 1 tbsp lemon juice
• 1 tbsp garam masala
• 1 tsp turmeric
• 1 tsp chili powder
• 1 tsp cumin
• 3 cloves garlic, minced
• 1 tbsp ginger, grated
• Salt to taste

Marinate for at least 1 hour (overnight = elite).

🍅 Sauce:
• 2 tbsp butter
• 1 onion, finely chopped
• 3 cloves garlic
• 1 tbsp ginger
• 1 can tomato sauce or purée
• 1 tsp garam masala
• 1 tsp paprika
• 1 tsp cumin
• 1/2 cup heavy cream
• Salt + a little sugar to balance

🔥 Cook marinated chicken until lightly charred.
🧈 In another pan, make the sauce: butter → onions → garlic & ginger → spices → tomato. Simmer 10 mins.
🥘 Add chicken + cream and let everything come together for another 5–10 mins.

Serve with naan or rice & enjoy 😮‍💨🤌🏽
