We will be delayed opening today because they poured a new concrete sidewalk in front of our store today. The contractor said it will be cured enough by 1:00pm, so we have decided to open at 2:00pm to allow for a margin of error. We will close at our usual time of 6pm today.

We arrived at work this morning to some concrete construction which is completely blocking our front door. If anyone wants to stop by for shopping today, we can let you in our back service entrance (at the back of the mall). Just call our business number (587-499-8793), and we will let you in. We have a surplus of bulk spices, so we’ll be selling them for $4 each or 3 for $9 (mix and match). Each container is approximately 250ml, so it’s a great opportunity to stock up on needed spices while our supplies last. More spices will be added as we complete our production schedule over the next few weeks.

We have everything from dishes, flatware, takeout containers, cake containers, trays, organizing cabinet with bins, freezers, oven, steam kettles, commercial dishwasher, clothes washer and dryer set, kitchen cabinets and much more. It’s been an incredible 10 years, but we will be closing our doors at the end of May.

It’s time for Brian and Debbie to at least semi-retire, and for Michelle to focus on being a mom.

Happy Thanksgiving to everyone! We decided to open for a few extra hours this afternoon to assist anyone who still needs to buy their Thanksgiving dinner meal items. We still have available our walnut chickpea “meatloaf”, herbed sourdough stuffing, garlic mashed potatoes, butternut squash soup, curried pumpkin soup, maple glazed “meatballs”, & spinach dip; as well as all of our usual soups, curries, shepherd’s pies and lasagnas.
