HAPPY NATIONAL ICE CREAM DAY!!! 🍨

TEST YOUR ICE CREAM TRIVIA with these fun facts: ⬇️⬇️

🍨 The top 3 Canadian ice cream flavors are:
• Chocolate,
• Vanilla, and
• Mint Chocolate Chip, which narrowly edges out regional favourites like Butterscotch and Maple Walnut.
🍨 About 4-5% of all raw milk produced by Canadian dairy farms goes directly toward making ice cream.
🍨 Canada produces approximately 170 to 198 million litres of hard ice cream each year.
🍨 Most manufacturers of ice cream and other frozen desserts are family-owned and have been in business for more than 50 years.
🍨 The world's largest ice cream scoop, as determined by Guinness World Records, appeared at a strawberry festival in Cedarburg, Wisconsin, in 2014. The giant scoop weighed 3,010 pounds and measured about 5 feet, 6 inches tall by 6 feet, 2 inches wide. [The largest cone measuring over 10 feet tall was made in Norway in 2015. The largest sundae weighing 54,917 pounds was made in Canada 🇨🇦 in 1988.]
🍨 The average number of licks to finish a scoop of ice cream is 50.
🍨 Brain freeze happens when you eat ice cream or other cold foods so quickly that the blood vessels in your head expand suddenly to increase blood flow and help warm up your mouth. The result is a temporary headache.
🍨 Chapmans notes that Canadians are still the world's largest consumers of ice cream during the winter months.😀

Hey there, I'm Ross, the big cheese behind 'A Scoop or Two', a mobile ice cream business that's the coolest thing on wheels. Our trailer is like a triple threat, with window service on three sides, serving up scooped, hard ice cream that's off the chain (thanks, Chapmans). As a new business, we're not just winging it - we're fully certified and licensed by AHS (Food Handling Permit) and the City of Edmonton. We're on a mission to become the cream of the crop, and we're looking for cool cats like you to help us build a loyal following. So, if you're planning any shindigs, we'd be honored if you'd consider us as a vendor. Thanks for your time, and have a day that's as sweet as our ice cream!
