Every Child Matters. 🧡

Today, September 30, we honour the children who never returned home from residential schools, the Survivors, and their families and communities.

At DON'YA, reconciliation isn't something we mark once a year. It's a living commitment built on relationships, shared meals, and mutual respect. Food has a way of bringing people together.

We're humbled to serve on Treaty 6 Territory, and we honour the Cree, Dene, Saulteaux, Nakota Sioux, and Métis Nations whose care for this land continues to guide us.

Many in our community are newcomers to Canada, as many of us once were. Part of making a home here is learning whose land we're on. A good place to begin is Native-Land.ca, where you can explore the traditional territories, languages, and Nations where you live.

If you need support, the National Indian Residential School Crisis Line is available 24/7 at 1-866-925-4419.

What a weekend in Toronto! 🍁💛

We had such a great time at CHFA NOW Toronto, with two full days on the tradeshow floor connecting with retailers, fellow CPGs, suppliers, friends, and so many people who are passionate about the food and natural products industry.

The conference also gave us plenty to think about, with some great learnings around:

🛍️ The Power of Merchandising
🌱 Turning Missions Into Brands
🏪 Understanding Retailers
🤖 Winning With AI

And it wasn’t all business! We got to experience Blue Jays Industry Night at the Dome ⚾️, catch up with our cousin George, and enjoy a delicious European dinner with family who lives in Toronto.

It was a busy, inspiring, and very fun few days — and we’re so grateful for everyone who took the time to connect with us!

Toronto, see you soon. 👋🇨🇦
We have a feeling you’ll be seeing DON’YA here soon… 👀🥟

Although our chapter at Little DON'YA has been put on pause, we want to express gratitude: to every person who came in, supported our meals and events, and left reviews. We couldn't have made it so long downtown without you. ❤️

It is bittersweet to look back at these reviews - we love each and every one of you, and we hope to see you at our Fort Road location or continuing to buy our products in grocery stores. ❤️
