Thanksgiving dinner prep is coming fast! The perfect mashed potato servings are easy to achieve…especially with the OXO potato press which was designed to make the process so easy I prefer to use Russet or Yukon gold potatoes..cut to same size pieces..put in cold water..brought to a boil, and reduce the temperature of the water down to a little more than a simmer..for 20-30 minutes or until tender. Drain and let them dry a bit.. it is now time for the OXO press to do its job! Most importantly..warm up the cream, or milk and butter and fold in to make the perfect mashed potatoes! Adding cold liquids can make your potatoes gluey! Enjoy! Staub ceramics, fall napkins and tapers are also here for setting your perfect table! More great news!!….our Dundas Farmers’ Market is open this Thursday for great holiday dinner options…2 pm to 6 pm!!
