Our sincerest appreciation goes to the Musqueam Nation for their enduring kindness and support, always providing us with a warm welcome and accommodating our needs during our visits. We are truly thankful for their understanding and flexibility regarding our extended stays.

Having returned with our new refrigerator, we are excited to be back home on the island. The removal of the old refrigerator and the secure installation of the new one are our immediate priorities.

With catering engagements scheduled for tomorrow and Friday (June 18,19) in Brentwood, we hope to see you all soon.

Today at NEC, we were grateful to welcome Hungry Bubba’s Indigenous food truck to campus.

A heartfelt thank you to Hungry Bubba’s for sharing food, warmth, and community with our learners, Elders-in-Residence and staff. Moments like these remind us of the strong relationships that continue to support and nourish our NEC community.

We are thankful for partners who show up with care, generosity, and good food.

Thank you to Hungry Bubba’s for visiting NEC and bringing people together in such a meaningful way.

Hellllo F&F!!!

Hungry Bubbas would like to thank all of the organizers in Cultus for allowing us to attend the canoe races last weekend ❤️❤️

We would also like to thank Cowichan District hospital for inviting us to cater 200 tacos yesterday to your beautiful indigenous celebration 🥰❤️

Our hands go up to District 62 for inviting us to cater 200 tacos for dinner in Sooke for dinner yesterday ❤️🥰🥰

Lastly we would like to extend appreciation to LENOṈET SCUL,ÁUTW̱/ SENĆOŦEN Immersion for inviting us to cater lunch to your staff & Students to Be today❤️❤️

After feeding 500 people in the last 2 days we are off to Musqueam for the weekend attending the Traditional War canoe races, we will be open to the public Saturday & Sunday

Next week we will be at The Pump in Brentwood open to the public from 11am-6pm Tuesday & Wednesday(June 16,17)

We extend our gratitude to the 50th Seabird Island Festival for the opportunity to participate. It was fantastic to see many familiar faces while working diligently.
Perhaps this year will be the ideal time to consider a second trailer to meet demand, while we strive to accommodate everyone.
Also we appreciate Lucetta George for teaming up with us serving her delicious waffles 🤤..

Hungry Bubbas will remain on the mainland for the time being, we will be back home in a couple of weeks ❤️

Hungry Bubbas has partnered with Cetta's Strawberry Waffles in Seabird today. Aunty has waffle irons ready to serve you. Waffles and coffee will be served until we start lunch ish.
