Please note that Street Meat has elected not to participate in the Dryden Fair this year. Our application to be there was approved by the committee, with conditions, this week. Strictly as a business decision only, we have elected to politely decline and hope to be there for 2020. This will be our only post on the matter this year.

For the first time in 10 years Street Meat will miss our opening gig at Eagle Lake youth Pow wow due to an equipment issue. It is disappointing because Shelley and I have watched the youth of that community grow up and mature (in most cases right Dallas lol). It was always nice to talk to the kids each year and find out what they have been up to and what they will be doing next. Shannon May Gardner has gone from a singer and dancer to the organizer/dancer. I think I have a video of her singing for a dinner from many years ago. Thank you to everyone who offered suggestions but I did find a new exhaust fan in Toronto via a Thunder Bay Company and it will be here early next week. I blistered and mangled both hands and ruined several shirts trying to repair and rebuild the old one. Once again, sorry for the inconvenience but these things happen. I have not been fishing opening weekend in so long I can't even remember...now where did I store my boat???

Street Meat is hoping to open at the Eagle lake pow wow this weekend. Having some technical difficulties with the exhaust fan. Will do our level best to be there but it's looking like 2 more weeks before we can open. Cant even buy a new fan in Canada. Two weeks minimum from the US.

Proceeds from the 4th annual Crack Down on Cancer event were presented today to the DRHC Oncology unit (over $1400).

Ritch Noel of Street Meat wishes to sincerely thank all those who took the time to come out in the cold and especially volunteers Shelley Swanson and Mark Weare.
