Denbigh has lots going on this Father’s Day weekend. Today is Fish & Chips Friday here at the food truck - there are a few sweet treats too! Saturday Denbigh Recreation is hosting the Horse Pulls at the Denbigh Heritage Park and Sunday is the day for dad! Bass season opens here in zone 18 so after a day on the lake with dad, stop by for a bite to eat & a special treat. Happy Father’s Day to all the dads out there!

Living in a small rural community is the only way of life we’ve ever known & only way we’ve ever wanted to live. Neighbours know your name, people say hello & hold the door open for each other at the store & the whole community comes together in times of need. As a thank you to the hard work & dedication of our neighbours who volunteer on the Denbigh Fire Department, we’d like to introduce to you the ‘Fire House Fryer Special’. Firefighters stop by before your training meeting on the 3rd Tuesday of the month and receive 50% off fryer foods. It’s our way of saying thank you for keeping our community safe. 🚒 And remember a green flashing light on a vehicle is a volunteer on their way either to the station or a call so pull over & treat them as any other emergency vehicle 🚨
