Klondike Kates Cabins

Klondike Kates Cabins Kate’s is a seasonal business located in the heart of the Klondike. Open from May to September. Kates is also home to 15 modern, eco freindly log cabins.

We have a fully licenced restaurant featuring Authentic Bbq and Canadian Cuisine. We use as much local produce and meat as possible, and thrive to be as green as we can with our kitchen practices.

Great news

Visitors are welcome in the Yukon and leisure travel is permitted. While there are fires in several regions of the territory, many communities are accessible and welcoming tourists.

Anyone travelling in the territory should carefully consider their plans and make informed decisions for their own safety and the safety of emergency responders and residents in impacted areas.

Good morning!

Thanks to the hard work of our Wildland Fire crews, we are pleased to announce we have opened both the Robert Campbell Highway between Watson Lake and Ross River and the North Klondike Highway between Pelly and Stewart Crossing. Both roads have been assessed for fallen trees and other impacts from the fires and are open and safe for travel.

Please note that conditions are subject to change at any time so always check Yukon 511 for the latest.

As well, there are active air quality warnings and smoke in Carmacks, Pelly, Dawson, Mayo, Stewart and the Silver Trail Area. For the latest fire information check Yukon.ca/get-wildfire-updates .

Drive safe!
