The Canteen is seeking two passionate individuals to join our award-winning team:
LINE COOK ā day & night shifts (TueāSun)
Professional kitchen experience required. Youāll work alongside ReneĢe LavalleĢe š§ and our incredible crew executing scratch-driven, ingredient-focused cooking. This means working with quality Nova Scotia seafood and produce, respecting technique, and caring about the details. You need to be organized, adaptable, and comfortable in a kitchen that moves. If you understand mise en place, can handle feedback, and actually want to learn and growāwe want to talk to you.
DINING ROOM HOST ā day & night shifts (TueāSat)
Youāre the first and last impression. This role is about genuine hospitalityāreading the room, making guests feel welcome, managing the flow of the night, and supporting our server team. Restaurant experience is great, but what really matters is instinct: can you stay calm when itās busy? Do you actually care if someone has a good experience? Can you problem-solve on the fly? If hospitality feels like a skill youāve honed, not just a job youāve done, this is for you.
