Free movies in the park!

Our big side project that we have been working on with two other great small businesses Lilacs & Lavender Sourdough & Strawberry Gables Marketing

We are almost two weeks away from our first ever Movie in the Park!

We are so excited to be able to give back to the community and offer this! An extensive amount of unpaid work, time and collaboration went into making this possible for all to enjoy for FREE!! 🤩

There are so many people to thank for their efforts and time and the best way to say thanks is to come to the movies, so we can make sure we can continue to offer this next year!😉🍿

July 3rd Guardians of the Galaxy will be playing! starting at 8pm until end of movie, we will have the snack bar open with many lovely food vendors with some special snacks to relate to the movie! Such as groot brownies and galaxy popcorn! 🌌🪐💜

We even have a face painter for the grand opening! 🎨

This weekend’s pizza special is one for the spinach dip lovers. 🤤

Our homemade spinach dip starts with cream cheese, sour cream, garlic, Parmesan, mozzarella, spinach, and artichokes, then gets spread over our sourdough crust and topped with even more spinach and mozzarella.

Hard to believe this is just a weekend’s worth of events. From corporate lunches and hardware stores to breweries, campgrounds, markets, weddings, and birthday parties—we’ll be all over the place serving up wood-fired sourdough pizza.

Today’s Support Local feature is one that is especially close to our hearts: Auston’s Organics. www.austonsorganics.com

The 6-hour slow-cooked tomato sauce you know and love on our wood-fired pizzas comes from Auston’s Organics. Auston is our 4-year-old son and the CEO behind the business. Caravan Bakery proudly purchases all of our pizza sauce from Auston, and every sale goes directly into his Registered Disability Savings Plan to help support his future when Mom and Dad are no longer here to do so.

Auston has non-verbal autism. He is pure joy, pure love, and if you’ve ever met him, you know his smile and laughter can light up an entire room. We are incredibly proud of both of our children. They remind us every day that special needs simply means special.

We wouldn’t change them for the world, but we would change the world for them—to be more accepting, more understanding, and more inclusive.

In addition to our pizza sauce, Auston’s Organics offers seasonal organic preserves and jams made from locally grown fruit, including strawberry, raspberry, blueberry, cranberry, pear, and other unique flavours throughout the year.
