We'll write you a note for your boss if you need one 👀🍞

Consider this your sign to dress like a snack this Halloween 🍞🎃

10/28/2026

If you thought our Sourdough could only be used for the savoury stuff, think again 👀🍫🍌

Find our Sourdough Banana Chocolate Chip Bread Pudding on our website!

10/26/2026

Its’s our last lesson before we close the books on Breaducate 🍞📚

And for our final pop quiz, can you guess why our Sourdough tastes a little different from province to province? We’re wrapping up the series with one final answer ☝🏼

10/13/2026

We’re not saying COBS fixes everything...but we’re also not 𝘯𝘰𝘵 saying that 👀🍞

10/13/2026

In Episode 2 of Breaducate, we’re taking you behind the scenes to show you what goes into making our Sourdough, from our living levain to the care and craft behind every loaf.

Turns out, good bread definitely doesn’t happen by accident. 💛

10/10/2026

Previously on Breaducate…we told you our Sourdough took a little trip to Belgium. 🇧🇪

But how? And most importantly, WHY? Breaducate is back in session! 🍞📚

10/07/2026

Obviously we had to try the viral Sticky Toffee Toast. 🤌

Dates, peanut butter, grilled honey-butter bananas and chocolate shavings, all served on our Sourdough Vienna! Some might call this indulgent..and some might call it a mid-morning snack. 👀

Let us know if you’ll be trying this one!

10/05/2026

Think you can say Fructilactobacillus sanfranciscensis on the first try? 🍞 It’s one of the bacteria found in our Sourdough starter…now say it three times fast. 👀

10/02/2026

We love our Pumpkin Pie Scones. So naturally, we made an entire pie out of them. 🎃🥧

Your Thanksgiving dessert is sorted. Full recipe on our website!

40 hours? Levain? Why does it all take so long? 👀

Take a seat because Breaducate is back in session. 📚🍞

You’ve tasted our Sourdough. Now hear us out. 🔊🍞

🍞 **REAL SOURDOUGH. REAL LEVAIN.**

Real sourdough is simple: **flour, water, and a living culture of wild yeast & good bacteria.** No commercial yeast. No shortcuts. Just time. ❤️

Most sourdough levains are *made.* **Ours is grown.**

Every COBS Sourdough starts with one living levain — **the COB Father.** 🫶

And here in **Cranbrook, our levain has a name: Adam Levain.** 🎤🍞 He’s a proud descendant of the COB Father and the living culture behind our Cranbrook sourdough!

Adam is fed flour and water **every single day**, because a happy levain makes better bread. That slow fermentation gives our sourdough its signature tang, chewy crumb, and crackly crust. 🥖✨

And yes, the COB Father is kind of a big deal… **COB Father #158 is registered in the Puratos Sourdough Library in Saint-Vith — the world’s only sourdough library!** 🌎

**No packets. No powders. Just real, living sourdough.** ❤️
