Barb was born and raised in Orillia, where her story began before life and work took her on a few adventures elsewhere. In 1994, she happily found her way back home. Two years later in 1996, she married her husband and started a wonderful new chapter.
Together, Barb and her husband shared a deep love for boating and spent many memorable days exploring Georgian Bay, cruising through the lock systems and taking in all the beauty. These experiences perfectly reflect Barb’s adventurous spirit, something that still shines brightly today.
While Barb never had children, her heart is full of love for her pets. Her current companion is Hugo, a well known neighbourhood cat. Hugo spends his days doing what cats do best, roaming outdoors, visiting everyone along the way, and always returning home when it is time to eat.
Adventure continues to be a big part of Barb’s life. She enjoys going on cruises to various destinations with her fraternal twin sister, who also happens to be her best friend. Though twins, their differences make their bond and travels special.
We truly cherish Barb as part of the Heart to Home Meals family. She has been a valued customer since 2023 and has placed an incredible 155 orders. Barb is always upbeat, cheerful, and never negative during our phone conversations. Her positivity is truly infectious.
