We served about 500 of these sundaes today at Brewery & the Beast and it was a festival of ....well...meat. Being that we raise muscovy ducks for meat we thought we'd do a bit of upcycling of duck livers and combined them with quatre epices ( French 4 spice), loads of cognac and turned them into the most unexpectedly delicious ice cream. We served the ice cream with a duck fat cashew toffee and bittersweet organic fair chocolate sauce. We were constantly asked if people could by this buy the pint - it was a hit!

Mike and Jaclyn got a free ice cream cone yesterday for coming to the farm after seeing on facebook that it was the last day we were going to be open for the season.

Well, and because they are our good friends and we were really happy to see them! They were even happier after sinking into this Blackberry Black Sesame Fudge cone.

Our farm store will be closing at 4PM today so that we can set up at the Cobble Hill Fair. We will be at the Timebenders concert tonight with our sodas, snow cones and ice cream! Please also note that our farm is CLOSED tomorrow as we will be at the fair. Hope to see you there!

Our newest flavour: Cinnamon roasted sweet potato and candied pecan ice cream. Think sweet potato pie meets butter pecan ice cream and you are close to how delicious this one is! Big big smiles from everyone that ordered this today!
