What a wonderful celebration of creativity at today’s Arts in Action event!

Guests enjoyed performances by our Grade 11/12 Band and Grade 10 Band, original compositions shared by our Music & Computers classes, and impressive performances from our Grade 9/10 Dance class, including a beautiful duet. The event also featured a showcase of outstanding artwork created by students in our Visual Arts classes.

A special thank you to Mrs. Dickerson’s Grade 6 class from McNaughton Avenue Public School for joining us and performing in the finale alongside our Vocal Class and Choir. Thank you also to Music Society for doing most of the planning and running the event.

Congratulations to all of our student artists, performers, and creators for sharing their talents, creativity, and hard work with our community!

What an unforgettable day in Stratford! 🎭✨

Our students had the incredible opportunity to attend a performance of Guys and Dolls at the beautiful Stratford Festival — and the experience went far beyond the stage.

A huge thank you to the festival for providing our students with the chance to participate in an engaging workshop where they learned choreography and elements from the show, followed by a wonderful Q&A session with two of the cast members after the performance. Hearing firsthand about life as a professional performer was both inspiring and educational for our aspiring artists.

We are so grateful for opportunities like these that bring theatre to life and help foster creativity, confidence, and a deeper appreciation for the arts. Bravo to the cast and crew of Guys and Dolls for an outstanding performance! 👏🎶🎲

What a beautiful way to close out our run of The Prom! 💙✨

To our incredible cast, crew, pit, and creative team — thank you for your talent, heart, dedication, and countless hours of hard work over the past six months. You brought so much joy, laughter, and love to the stage, and you should all be incredibly proud of what you accomplished together.

A heartfelt thank you as well to our CKSS staff, administration, families, sponsors, volunteers, and the LKDSB for continuing to support arts education and student performance opportunities. It truly takes a community to make theatre happen.
