When you get so busy in the kitchen that you forget to do a post and then you get a message from someone saying ‘hey we haven’t seen the post yet this morning’. Lol.

Peach jam is done.

Peach salsa is done.
Wonderful peach squares.

Do you have Chronic Kidney Disease? I have a great alternative for you. Peach salsa! No salt, no tomatoes, but all the pleasure of salsa. Grandma Knox used to put this on everything! 🍑 💃

And then, of course, come see us! Mum used some of the homemade fig jam and made pastries! 🥮 She also made some pastries with our homemade lemon curd! 🍋
Pastries are $2 each or three for $5.

How cute are these hedgehog cupcakes? 🦔 🧁

Strawberry squares! Mmm 🍓

First batch of fig jam is ready. Mum’s fig tree is still producing so hopefully we have a second batch coming. 🤞

Mixed berry jam being labeled and put on the shelf as this is being posted. Sometimes mum goes out to her berry patch with one container and just starts picking. She grows so many berries.

Blackberry jam coming soon. Elderberry jam coming soon. Peaches coming up soon….lots of peaches! We will do some of the frozen crisps with peaches. 🍑

We have some refrigerator pickles….they are kinda a big dill! 🥒

Veggie lasagne!

New to the store front….puzzles! 🧩 (Acadia puzzles, look her up, she’s a lovely woman).

Lots of preserves. (Currently chilling in the kitchen is peach chutney and English chili sauce….later today fig jam)

KJ is currently decorating another chocolate chip cookie cake decorated like yesterday because people loved it so much. 🍉 It was so cute!🥰
