Big news from our Fryday Sundae family! 🍟🍦✨

Our second location, Fryday Sundae Café – Decker’s Edition in Brackley Beach, is opening tomorrow, Friday, June 12th!

This is our first year at this location, and we’re excited to start serving another beautiful PEI community. Please help us welcome our Fryday Sundae Café Brackley Beach team and follow along for more updates! 💛

We’re excited to share that our second Fryday Sundae Café location in Brackley Beach will open tomorrow, Friday, June 12th, 2026!

This is our first year at this location, and we are still working on a few improvements around the building and property. It may not be 100% finished yet, but we are ready to start serving you and welcome you in for the season.

Thank you so much for your patience, support, and encouragement as we bring Fryday Sundae Café to Brackley Beach. We can’t wait to see you tomorrow!

This summer, most of our hot meals will come with fries by default!

Burgers, seafood, hot dogs, and chicken fingers will be served with fries automatically.

For burgers, hot dogs, or chicken fingers, you can still order them without fries — just let us know when ordering. Seafood items will be served with fries as a meal.

Our fresh bites, like sandwiches and wraps, will still come without fries by default, but you can always make them a meal.

These small changes are based on what customers ordered last year, helping us create a better flow and an easier ordering experience for everyone.

Introducing our new burger for this summer: Fryday Double Smash Burger 🍔✨

Two smash beef patties with cheddar cheese melted in between, topped with double onions — caramelized onions and crispy fried onions — plus lettuce and our house burger sauce on a toasted bun.

It’s the upgraded version of our Island Beef Burger, made with one PEI beef patty, classic toppings, and sauces.

New Kids Menu for Summer 2026!

We have some new kid-friendly options at Fryday Sundae Café – Captain Kidd’s Edition in Cavendish:

🍔 Junior Burger
🐟 Haddock Strips
🍗 Chicken Nuggets

Each kids meal comes with fries and your choice of ADL milk or 100% juice.

And this year, every kids meal comes with something extra fun — a pirate-themed colouring page and a set of 3 crayons. 🏴‍☠️🖍️

This Family Day Sundae… oops, we mean Sunday 😅 — we’re open from 11:30 am to 8:00 pm. Come spend some family time with us!

Oh, and one more fun update: we added a new airplane teeter-totter to our yard in Cavendish — our third play piece out front. ✈️

New Pepsi Cooler! 🥤✨

We got a new, bigger Pepsi cooler at Fryday Sundae Café – Captain Kidd’s Edition in Cavendish!

This year, we also added more pop drink options, including:
Pepsi, Diet Pepsi, Pepsi Zero, 7UP, Crush Orange, Dr. Pepper, Mug Root Beer, Mountain Dew, Schweppes Ginger Ale, Brisk Iced Tea, and more.

Here’s a closer look at what goes into our new Fryday Wing Poutine. 🍟🔥

It starts with the classic poutine favourites: crispy fries, cheese curds, and rich gravy.

Then we add the Fryday twist: boneless chicken wings, buffalo sauce, and ranch dressing.

It is almost like two comfort foods in one — poutine and wings — both great on their own, but even better together.

Some of you have already tried it this season, and we’re excited to hear what you think. If you haven’t yet, please give it a try!

Can we be honest for a second? 😅

Last summer, Shipwreck Fries — our Fries with the Works — were probably one of our least favourite items on the menu.

But this summer, after reworking the recipe, they’ve moved from the bottom of the list to one of our Top 3 favourites. 🍟

We upgraded the fries to make them crispier, switched to better cheese curds, and improved the gravy to make it richer and more flavourful — all still topped with beef from MacQuarrie Meats.

If you tried Shipwreck Fries before and they weren’t your favourite, we’d love for you to give them another chance this summer.

And if you already loved them before… we think you’ll love them even more now. ❤️

This year, we reworked our loaded fries from the ground up. 🍟

Our Poutine, Fries with the Works, and new Fryday Wing Poutine all got a fresh update. We revisited every part — the fries, the cheese curds, and the gravy — to make them better than before.

Crispier fries.
Better cheese curds with more aroma.
A richer, more flavourful gravy with extra umami.

We’ve already started hearing some lovely compliments on our loaded fries this season, and we really appreciate it. ❤️
