Introducing Izzy!

Izzy is joined the team early last year and her warm smile and personality have been brightening Dickie Baxter ever since.

Izzy is in her final year of psych at Acadia and hopes to become a registered counselling therapist after graduating.

She’s got a keen eye for detail and keeps the bistro tidy better than anyone. Her hospitality will keep anyone she serves feeling warm even as the weather turns cold. We’re super lucky to have her around!

This joyous human is Jacob, Jacob arrived at Dickie in the spring and has been keeping us entertained ever since.

Prior to working at Dickie Baxter, Jacob lived in New Brunswick where he worked in fine dining, earning a glowing letter of recommendation.

When Jacob isn’t working, he loves to watch foreign language films and pursue his passion of working on cars.

With Jacob there is never a dull moment, and he is never short of a quip, and somehow always ready with a one-liner, usually when you least expect it.

Behind all the wisecracks, though, Jacob is seriously good at what he does. Warm, attentive and professional, he’ll look after your table beautifully… while quite possibly making you laugh in the process.

We’re very glad he wandered through our doors.

If Jacob has served you, chances are you remember him.
