We may not be located in the heart of downtown, but we are conveniently located where all the action happens.

Just steps inside the day lodge at the Canmore Nordic Centre, Cornerstone Café is located in the heart of a provincial park, where many of the region’s best trails start and end.

Come hiking season, we’re the closest coffee shop for those heading up the peaks of Ha Ling, EEOR, or adventuring around Grassi Lakes.

Locally owned and operated, our cafe is the perfect spot to enjoy Canmore’s local delights without driving back into town.

Our pick is always the traditional big hike breakfast, which includes two scrambled eggs, two hash browns, and two pancakes, along with a choice of bacon or sausage.

We've seen quite a few new faces around here lately. So we figured it was a good time to reintroduce ourselves.

We're Cornerstone Cafe, a locally owned and operated eatery in the day lodge at the .nordiccentre. But before you go making assumptions... we're a lot more than just another chalet cafe.

We know how hard it is to balance great food with a valley budget, so we've made it their mission to serve up both.

Our goal? To fuel your mountain adventures with food that is as nourishing as it is delicious (with the occasional poutine, because balance).

Let’s all do our part to protect wildlife and keep our backyard beautiful.

We’re proud to be located in Canmore Nordic Centre Provincial Park and take our role as ambassadors seriously.

When using our local trails, please remember to pack out what you pack in and use bear-proof garbage bins to prevent animals from coming in contact with human food.

What takes less than a minute of your time has the power to save an animal’s life.

Want to embrace the leave-no-trace attitude? Why not enjoy a snack or meal with us in the day lodge to reduce the use of take-out containers.
