Experience the richness and creaminess of Alberta's own Foothills ice cream products at the Castle on the lake. 16 flavors of hard ice cream served daily plus soft serve ice cream and chocolate yogurt. FootHills Creamery makes about 75 different flavours of hard ice cream in their factory in Calgary Alberta. OleO's serves about 65 of those different flavours

ery most favourite at OleO's is Tiger and Bubble Gum followed very closely by Maple Walnut. they are the best in Camrose.

OleO's is closed for the season. There are rumblings going around that OleO's has been sold so I want you to know that this is true! OleO's will reopen next year under new ownership, and will operate exactly the same as it has for the past 13 years with me as owner/manager. You will even see familiar students serving you.
Thank you to everyone for supporting my dream of OleO's and helping to make the kiddies park at Mirror Lake Park and City of Camrose, Alberta, a wonderful community to visit and live in. Hazel

Why is OleO’s spelled this way?

OleO’s was named for my Dad, Ole Olsen, hence the ending with a capital O.

My Dad loved ice cream and I know in my heart that he, and my Mom (who had earned her chef papers at the ripe age of 54 years with only a grade 7 education and after raising nine children) both were helping from “above” when I decided to purchase the L’il Oli’s Ice Cream Castle seven years ago. And I changed the name to OleO’s Ice Cream Castle.

There is nothing so strong as the love of your parents - whether they are here in physical body or in spirit. Thanks Mom and Dad!
