Colby went back to school this fall to become an elementary school educator! He spent a while unsure of what he should do. After some soul-searching, he came to the conclusion that being an elementary school teacher would be a fun and fulfilling career!

When Ally worked at a Cineplex in Calgary, she got to meet 𝗕𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗮 𝗥𝗵𝘆𝗺𝗲𝘀 when he and his team went to see 𝙀𝙦𝙪𝙖𝙡𝙞𝙯𝙚𝙧 4! She got to serve them popcorn and a LOT of hot dogs.

If you could move to any country or city on Earth for one year, all expenses paid, where would you go?

Addyson is a huge Formula One fan, so is it any surprise that she would choose Italy? Beyond the incredible history, culture, and food, she is particularly invested in seeing the city of Monza. Being able to just watch the Grand Prix in person would be a phenomenal experience.

What is your favourite drink on the menu?

Justine's is the Pineapple Jalapeño Margarita! It is a delicious reminder of summer that is bursting with fruity flavour!

It is an Olmeca tequila, triple sec, fresh-pressed lime, and pineapple jalapeño infusion. You can upgrade to Altos Plata or Del Maguey Vida mezcal if that is more your style!

Meet our new team member, Madden!

Madden enjoys both art and exercise. He loves painting, particularly with watercolour, but he is simply happy to be creative in any medium he can try. He loves to go cross-country running on beautiful days as a way to stay healthy and active. When he has a spare moment, some time with his friends is a great break from the regular day-to-day routine!

What is your favourite part of Fall?

McKenzie's favourite part is Halloween. She enjoys the fun of the holiday. She is planning to go to Edmonton for a couple of days to take part in some costume contests. She needs to have multiple costumes for it and would appreciate some help deciding which costumes she should wear for it.

Do you have any ideas for her? To win a costume contest, ideas need to be clever or incredibly detailed, so what would you recommend?

What is your favourite kind of food?

Jayson LOVES spicy food and creamy sauces, like in Indian or Asian cuisine. He has a couple of favourite dishes that feel like home in every bite:

Bicol Express — A rich, creamy, spicy pork dish. The pork is chopped into cubes, cooked in coconut milk and chilli peppers, and served with steamed rice.

Caldereta — This dish comes from the Philippines! It is a rich, savoury meat stew that blends both Spanish and Filipino flavours. Usually, it contains beef, chorizo sausage, bell peppers, tomato sauce, cubed potatoes, peas, onion, and a myriad of spices reminiscent of both cultures.

Both of these sound absolutely mouth-watering! Which of Jayson's favourite meals would you try to make? There are some great online recipes to follow.

Meet our team member Britt!

She is an incredibly active person who enjoys going to the gym and playing soccer. She plays in an Edmonton women's Soccer league when she can spare a moment between shifts. When she finally has a moment to herself, she likes to get all comfy and cozy as she pulls out some crochet needles and works on her latest yarn-based project.
