Another fabulous Ladies Fishing derby.
The ladies travelled from all over Canada and the USA to catch the big one and take home the prize money with our fabulous trophy. $1500 was won by Alyssa Miller from Ontario, who travelled to Campbell River with her mom and sister. Laurel Gareau was her fishing guide, who also won $500 as the wining guide. They both pulled in a 12.7lb Coho. Small compared to most years but a winner for this year.
Local Fishing guides had a blast with the ladies enjoying the food and frivolity of a fun weekend had by all.
Chef Michelle won the tastebuds of many with fabulous dishes and Appys that kept them coming back for more.
