🚨 SCAM ALERT – BC Hydro Style ⚡️

We got a call on Saturday from someone pretending to be BC Hydro. Super professional, very convincing — they said our power would be disconnected within hours because our bill was overdue. 😱

They claimed they’d already sent two notices, and even used some fancy “maintenance delay” and “accounting reconciliation” lingo to make it sound real. 🧾🔧📊

Here’s the kicker: the only way to “fix it” was to buy a special “Power Gift Card” (??) from Circle K and give them the code. 😂

BC Hydro will NEVER ask for gift cards or payment like this. Ever. 🔒

We ended up spending 2 hours wasting their time, which honestly felt like a public service. 😎🕵️‍♀️🕵️‍♂️

Just a heads-up, folks — they’re getting sneaky. Stay smart, and maybe keep a snack handy in case you feel like trolling them too. 🍿
