Today is International Tea Day, and we want to thank the many people who make tea possible. Long before it reaches our cup, it has passed through many skilled hands that have grown, plucked, sorted, rolled, dried, shaped and packed it.

The inaugural Calgary Tea Festival will bring together independent tea shops, tea makers, tastings, presentations, teaware, and a community of people who simply love tea.
A day to discover new favourites.
To taste widely.
To meet the people behind the cup.

If you are able to help serve lunch at the Calgary Drop In on May 9th between 11:30 - 1:30, that would be AWESOME. No experience necessary. You do need to be 18 years or older.
