Gilles Brassart, a restauranteur from the South of France has teamed up with Dominique Moussu – owner of the L’Epicerie – Brought together by their passion for food, they invite you for a food experience. Recipes inspired from the flavours of the South of France and Mama Regine's kitchen (Gilles’s Mama). "95% of our food will be prepared from the produce at Market 17 (our neighbors at the Casel Marché). This means: always fresh, always seasonal and most often organic from our local farmers and ranchers." - Brassart (owner/operator)

The best of Alberta in the hands of a French chef.

“We wanted to offer a casual space to share fresh, delicious, approachable French cuisine. We believe that all important and meaningful conversations happen at the table, that table should make you feel like you are at home, whether you are with a group of people or dining alone. That table should always include good food, good w**e and good conversation.” Gilles Brassart.

Welcome to our table.

Our Star, Beef Tartare! A guest favourite, and Chef Dominique reveals the key to its perfection. It all begins with top-quality meat and a precise aging process - essential steps! The magic continues with skilled cutting and the ideal balance of seasonings. Served with Chef’s special house-made Alberta potato chips, crisped to perfection in duck fat. An absolute delight!
