Team chicken we need your help ! This is not our normal wing content but it is just as important. The owners need our help!
In July of 2026, my dad’s cat Lucy was diagnosed with non-regenerative anaemia, and it has been a battle since. What was once a happy playful cat, who loved to go outside on walks with my dad. Turned into my parents worst nightmare, a cat who was lethargic, wouldn’t eat and had to be hand fed water by my dad. Lucy is only 5 years old, and it’s my dad’s baby. Lucy has undergone several blood transfusions from Generous donors such as Allys cats and Hanks. along with other kitties who have given blood.
It has been an uphill battle for baby Lucy, and it’s still going. A normal cat ranges 35-40 for red blood cell count and at the last transfusion Lucy was only at 12. After the transfusion Lucy held strong at 20 points !! But it’s still to low.
This is where everyone comes in. I think with the power of all of us we can send enough positive energy into the universe to get that number up. So this is what we’re doing. In the comments below 👇🏻 write your magic number for what Lucy is going to be at for his appointment on Tuesday at 9:30am.
